Odeya Rush recalled bragging about being friends with Taylor Swift after visiting the popstar’s Rhode Island house.
During an interview, the US-based Israeli actress said she was invited to one of Taylor Swift’s 4th of July parties when she was a teenager.
“This was definitely a one-side friendship, I would say. She invited me to some stuff. But I think she was just a really nice and she could tell I was such a big fan.”
The actress who is portraying Maria in Memory of a Killer, asked the interviewer, “Have you been to camp.? When you are like 13 and there is like an 18 year old counselor that you are obsessed with and you go home and you tell all your friends that you have this 18 year old friend and she doesn’t know your name.”
Odeya Rush, 28, added, “Taylor was just so nice, like genuinely so nice. She was like doing these the 4th of july gathering which was so sweet of her to invite me to.”
She then jokingly added, “It’s pretty embarrassing. I was never invited again. But I did go and I did tell every person I met about it. I said this on news ‘Taylor is my friend’. I did say that. But I was 16 and I was excited, and I didn’t realize what friendship really was.
