Rosie O’Donnell got rejected by talk show, The View.

According to Radar Online, Rosie made a public announcement about her comeback to The Views for its 30th anniversary, however, it did not go down as expected.

Following the matter a TV insider, has made a statement that “Nothing has been officially confirmed.”

Noting, “There have been conversations, but those conversations were supposed to remain confidential. Rosie’s announcing it has complicated things.”

On the other hand, Rosie’s representatives gave different clarification, saying, “there was a mention of inviting some of the hosts back to The View.”

“There has not been a formal request from the show at this time,” they added.

However, the complications in the actress and comedian’s comeback may be because of her history with the daytime talk show as she had previously spoke in 2023, Podcast with Brooke Shields, about her past clashes on the show with her former fellow host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

“One day on the show [Hasselbeck] kind of threw me under the bus and I was like, ‘Are you f—— kidding me?’ I finished the show, got my coat, walked out, and said I’m not going back, and I didn’t, until a few years later when they asked me to come back and Whoopi was on it, and we clashed in ways that I was shocked by,” Rosie said.

“I know this: It’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness.”

“It was not something I’d ever do again,” she said at the time.

Now, a source offered a different perspective on the situation, noting that there could be a possibility of the former host’s comeback. “Think of the ratings,” they stated.
