Pakistani mountaineer conquers Mount Everest


ISLAMABAD – Pakistani mountaineer Salman Atique has successfully summited the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.

Salman Atique reached the summit of Everest at 11:49 a.m. today. Hailing from Islamabad, he has become the 14th Pakistani to conquer Mount Everest.

Standing at 8,848 meters, Mount Everest is located in Nepal. Salman Atique had also climbed Mount Manaslu in Nepal last year.
