Nationwide Boiler Highlights High-Capacity Mobile Steam Boilers for Industrial Use
Trailer-mounted saturated and superheated steam boilers deliver high-output performance, fuel flexibility and low-NOx emissions for petrochemical and heavy industrial use.
Nationwide Boiler Inc. is highlighting two high-capacity, trailer-mounted boilers in its rental fleet designed for industrial applications, including petrochemical operations.
The units include a 150,000-pound-per-hour (pph) high-pressure saturated steam boiler and a 110,000 pph high-pressure superheated steam boiler. Both mobile watertube systems are engineered to deliver temporary steam in high-demand environments while meeting emissions and efficiency standards.
The 150,000 pph saturated steam boiler operates at a maximum allowable working pressure of 650 psig, with a range of 350 to 600 psig. The 110,000 pph superheated unit operates up to 750 psig and can supply steam at temperatures up to 750°F. Both systems are equipped with low-NOx burners and can be paired with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to achieve ultra-low emissions.
Each boiler is fully piped and wired and includes a variable frequency drive-controlled forced draft fan, economizer and PLC-based combustion controls. Safety features include safety valves, low-water cutoffs and NEMA 4 electrical enclosures.
The trailer-mounted units are designed for mobility, with removable goosenecks and running gear for transport and flexible site placement. They are capable of firing multiple fuel types, including natural gas, No. 2 oil and hydrogen-blended fuels.
Nationwide Boiler said the systems comply with ASME, FM and NFPA standards and are intended to support both planned maintenance projects and emergency operations requiring high-capacity steam.
