Clips from Kristen Stewart’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have been widely circulated online with false and misleading claims about her habits.
A video of the actress talking to Fallon garnered more than one million views when shared from a single X account.
The reason it gained traction on the social networking website appeared to be the claim the user made in the caption.
“Kristen Stewart is on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and she looks like she’s on METH. She’s shaking, twitching, itching, sunken eyes, acting spastically. This chick is on something. No wonder she’s insane.”
When a user replied, “Did she even comb her hair? How could they let her go out like that?”, the poster wrote, “Seriously. Looks like she just rolled out of bed, snorted a line, and went on Jimmy Fallon.”
Another said, “She definitely looked unusually restless during that interview, but there could be a lot going on.”
Importantly, Kristen Stewart has openly acknowledged using cannabis but she is not particularly known for hard drug use.
In an interview with the New York Times Magazine last year, she said “I smoke a lot of weed. But I shouldn’t, because it [expletive] with my circadian rhythm and I can’t sleep.”
The actress also discussed not feeling creatively inspired by getting “fu*** up” on alcohol or drugs and preferring a clear head for her work.
However, this is not the first time the actress has been targeted with false claims.
Recently, a video of her was circulated with false claims that she wants another chance with former boyfriend Robert Pattinson and that she is even ready to divorce “her husband.”
The video was shared with the caption: “Kristen Stewart reportedly broke down in tears, admitting cheating on Robert Pattinson is the biggest regret of her life and that she still misses him, even revealing she’d divorce her husband for another chance with him. I don’t mind divorcing. I just wanna be with him.”
Another reason the claim made on social media is false is that Kristen Stewart does not have a husband.
Stewart, who publicly came out as gay in February 2017, married screenwriter Dylan Meyer in April 2025.
