Christy Knowings, former “All That” star died Tuesday after suffering an asthma attack that left her with brain damage. She was 46.

The Nickelodeon star was shifted to a hospital on Friday after the attack, and placed on life support.

She remained in that state through Tuesday, when her family ultimately decided to take her off it.

Tributes started pouring in after news of her death emerged online.

A large number of fans praised the actress in the comments section of her last Instagram post which she had shared weeks ago.

“R.I.P. Thank you for being a part of my childhood!!,” wrote a fan.

One fan wrote, “Thanks for all the laughs. My childhood memories of the show “All That” was great because of you! Queen get you’re rest in Paradise.”

“Rip beautiful! I am so saddened about your passing! You brought me a lot of laughs in my childhood that I’ll cherish for life,” wrote another.

Knowings was a regular on All That for three seasons from 1997 to 2000 alongside Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson and more.

She played various roles on the comedy series, including Jessica and Penny Lane. However, Knowings’ favourite role was as Gloria Bankhead in Season 6.

“She was an over-the-top Martha Stewart,” Knowings said about the character in a 2019 interview with Bustle. “I had never played any character like her!”
