Colorado Launches Interactive Environmental Justice Grants Dashboard

The new CDPHE tool provides a transparent look at how three years of grant funding have addressed pollution and climate change statewide.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Office of Environmental Justice has launched a new interactive dashboard to track the impact of its Environmental Justice Grant Program.

The digital tool allows the public to explore community-led projects from the past three years, highlighting how state investments are being used to address air and water pollution, climate change, and local environmental health. The dashboard is designed to increase transparency regarding the distribution of public funds and the progress of ongoing environmental initiatives.

“This dashboard gives Coloradans a clear view of how state funding is supporting practical, on-the-ground solutions to environmental health challenges,” said Jill Hunsaker Ryan, executive director of the CDPHE.

The release of the platform comes as the Office of Environmental Justice prepares for its fourth funding cycle. By providing a centralized location for project data, officials aim to demonstrate the measurable differences made in areas where residents live, work, and attend school.

According to Meghan Guevara, director of the Office of Environmental Justice, the tool serves as a record of how local communities are converting state investment into meaningful action to improve health and environmental conditions across the state.
