Tyga has nothing but “love” for Doja Cat after she slammed him for using AI in his latest music.
On August 12, during a live stream, Doja shared her honest thoughts about Tyga’s recent confession of using AI in his new album $tarface.
She said, “Nobody asked me anything about Tyga, but I felt like saying this.
“Tyga is a p**** for making an AI album.”
However, Tyga responded in a more subtle way during a live appearance on TMZ.
“Listen, I love Doja, but she made a demonic album,” the rapper said.
“But I still love her.”
Doja and Tyga have previously collaborated on Doja’s songs two times; one was the 2019 remix of Juicy, and the second one was a feature on Freaky Deaky in 2022.
This came after Tyga admitted that he took help from AI tools in his new album after fans speculated it.
“We definitely used AI as a [tool]. And I know people are going to be mad about me saying this, but it’s where technology is going. It’s no different than when Auto-Tune came out. Some people were opposed to it, but real artists took it and used it,” he told VIBE.
He detailed, “We were like, you know what? I need some ’80s synths for a certain part of this song. I need a guitar solo done ASAP. It is what it is.”
The Californian artist clarified that “all the vocals” were created without AI.
