Yungblud recently injured his leg in a dirt bike accident, but he says the injury won’t stop him from continuing his tour.
The 29-year-old musician revealed the injury happened just hours before his performance at a motorcycle event in South Dakota. In footage shared by fans, he told the crowd he wouldn’t be able to move around on stage the way he usually does, but promised to keep performing anyway.
Yungblud later shared more details about the injury on Instagram, sharing photos of himself using crutches with his leg wrapped in a compression bandage.
He confirmed that despite the injury, he plans to continue his upcoming shows in Portugal and Belgium.
This isn’t the first time Yungblud has performed while injured. Back in 2018, he played a festival show in a wheelchair after injuring his ankle the night before another performance.
Last month, Yungblud also canceled an appearance at a Canadian music festival, explaining in a social media post that he was taking time off at home in the UK to focus on his personal wellbeing.
Yungblud is scheduled to perform in Portugal on August 18 and in Belgium later this month as he continues his world tour.
