Tracking the path of Hurricane Lee

The center of post-tropical cyclone Lee is quickly moving toward landfall around southern New Brunswick as winds and rain lash parts of the northern Atlantic coast.

Lee formed on Tuesday, Sept. 5th and became a major hurricane the next day. Since then, it’s worked its way north through the Atlantic.

The National Hurricane Center has warned of hazardous surf and rip current conditions at beaches along the East Coast as the storm passes by offshore. Forecasts project the storm will turn toward the northeast and continue to move across Atlantic Canada Saturday night and Sunday.
