Tom Holland has had a massive fanbase ever since he debuted as Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man.
But as his much-anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release in days, the actor’s biggest fans joined him in support.
They are the British star’s parents, Dominic and Nikki Holland.
A comedian himself, Holland’s father took to Instagram to share snippets of the upcoming film’s Los Angeles premiere.
“I saw #spiderman #brandnewday last night in LA with these two. I plan to post my full review by mid-August. Do check back #tomholland2013 #spidermanbrandnewday,” he wrote as he watched the Marvel film with his wife and his son.
Aside from major #spidermanbrandnewday, HolHolland’s Brand New Day also landed well with critics.
In a review in Inverse, the solo Spidey outing is described as “It’s an emotionally stirring, dynamically directed Spider-Man movie that gives us the Spidey we want.”
TheWrap, similarly, penned, “We don’t get many great MCU movies anymore. That this is one of the highlights of the whole franchise feels amazing.”
Not to mention, in Consequence, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is reviewed as “a remarkably coherent, often joyful film, dedicated to giving the character some growth and grace.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theatres on July 31.
