Ryan de Nino’s ex-wife, Jessica Castro, finally broke the silence on the sudden death of Married at First Sight star.
“I have not had contact with Ryan in years so I have/had no idea what his life entailed,” the 42-year-old reality TV star told Page Six on Friday evening.
“However, I do send my sincerest condolences to his family during this very difficult time,” she continued.
“I can not imagine what they are going through,” added Jessica. May he rest peacefully.”
TMZ was first to report Ryan’s death. A family member told the outlet that the reality TV star breathed his last in New Jersey “earlier this week.”
Meanwhile, Ryan’s sister, Melissa De Nino, also confirmed the TV personality’s death on social media.
“Ryan was so damn funny and witty. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved. He had a huge heart, always,” she penned on Facebook.
Melissa further wrote, “I can’t explain what it’s like to lose a sibling. Someone who’s been there from the beginning and shares the same memories.”
“No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely. Life as I know it will never be the same,” she added.
For those unversed, Jessica and Ryan rose to fame after starring on the second season of the hit reality series, Married at First Sight.
But shortly after the season aired, the two called it quits.
