Pedro Pascal breaks down recalling childhood memory with family

Pedro Pascal was hit by nostalgia when he recalled that he used to visit theater with his family when he was a kid.

On Sunday, the Materialists star made an unannounced guest appearance during the Star Wars: Mandalorian and Grogu panel discussion at CCXP in Mexico along with co-writer-director Jon Favreau.

As Pedro Pascal voices the titular character, Din Djarin, in The Mandalorian, he expressed his gratitude for being part of the hit series premiered on Disney+ back in 2019.

While discussing the role on stage, he teared up looking back at the movie outing with his family when he was younger.

“As soon as I saw this, I knew that it would be a new authorship of a streaming experience,” the actor said about the Disney+ series, via Hollywood Reporter. “But I always had a dream in my heart that it would be on a big screen because that’s how I was developed as a child. I went to the movie theater so much with my family, and I saw the Star Wars movies on the big screen.”

He then said some remarks in Spanish and became emotional as tears started to fall down. After wiping his tears he blew a kiss to his fans in the audience.

Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White also joined the panel discussion as they are also starring in the movie.

The live-action sci-fi action-adventure film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is all set for its theatrical release on May 22.
