Obsession, directed by Curry Barker and produced by Blumhouse, is giving horror fans another reason to celebrate.
After becoming one of the biggest surprise hits of 2026, the film is now available to watch at home through digital platforms.
The supernatural thriller, written and directed by Curry Barker, first hit cinemas on May 15 through Focus Features.
Made on a small budget, the thriller surprised everyone by earning more than $370 million from all over the world.
It, however, also became the highest earning film in Focus Features’ history.
From July 1, fans can buy or rent the movie on Prime Video and Apple TV. The digital release also comes with special bonus content, including a behind the scenes feature that shows how the film was made.
The story is about Bear, which is played by Michael Johnston, who finds a magical object called the One Wish Willow.
He uses it to make his crush Nikki, which is played by Inde Navarrette, fall in love with him.
At first, everything seems perfect but the wish soon goes terribly wrong, and Nikki’s love turns into something very frightening.
The film also stars Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and Andy Richter.
The movie has also impressed critics and moviegoers. It received an A minus CinemaScore and holds a 94 percent critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Obsession is also expected to arrive on Peacock later, although no streaming date has been confirmed yet.
