Meghan Markle is building anticipation for her latest film project after sharing a brand-new poster for Cookie Queens, the documentary she executive produced with Prince Harry through Archewell Productions.

Reposting the official artwork on Instagram, Meghan shared the simple but uplifting message: “Big dreams start small. #CookieQueens is only in theaters August 7,” to grow excitement ahead of the documentary’s theatrical release.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alysa Nahmias, Cookie Queens follows four determined young Girl Scouts as they compete to become top cookie sellers during the iconic Girl Scout Cookie season.

While centred on one of America’s best-known traditions, the documentary explores far deeper themes of ambition, resilience, leadership and the realities of growing up.

The film first premiered to strong reviews at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, where Meghan described it as far more than a story about cookies.

Speaking before the screening, the Duchess praised Nahmias’ creative vision, saying the documentary offers “one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions” of an American tradition while modernising the experience of girlhood.

“It’s cute, and yes, these young ladies are fantastic and adorable,” Meghan told the audience. “But they are also layered, beautiful girls who are about to become strong leaders and young women.”

The documentary celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of its young stars while also exploring the pressures, friendships and personal growth that accompany one of America’s largest youth fundraising traditions, an industry that generates hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
