Significant developments have emerged regarding the medical examination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail. According to the latest reports, an ambulance from Holy Family Hospital has arrived at the jail and was allowed entry through Gate No. 5.Sources say the ambulance carried medicines, medical equipment, and specialized machinery for an eye examination. A team of specialist doctors is expected to conduct a detailed medical check-up of the former prime minister.

Initial Medical Report Sent to Government

According to sources, Imran Khan’s preliminary medical report has been forwarded to the Punjab government. The report includes details of his blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, and blood sugar levels. It also provides written information about the current condition of his eyesight.

Jail authorities stated that his health is being monitored on a daily basis and all medical records are being properly maintained.

Special Medical Panel Formed

Given the sensitivity of the matter, the federal government has constituted a special medical panel comprising Dr. Amjad and Dr. Nadeem Qureshi. The panel will submit its recommendations after the examination, based on which a decision will be made regarding whether Imran Khan needs to be shifted to a hospital for further treatment.

PTI’s Response

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has expressed concern over the health of its founder and demanded that all stages of the medical process be conducted with complete transparency.

Government sources said that the future course of action will be determined after the final report of the medical board is issued.
