LAHORE – Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans by 20 runs in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.
In the rain-affected match played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Multan Sultans, chasing a target of 186, scored 165 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 13 overs.
For the Sultans, captain Ashton Turner remained the top scorer with an unbeaten 52. Shan Masood made 44, Arafat Minhas 25, Sahibzada Farhan 24, Steven Smith 9, and Josh Philippe 1.
For Qalandars, Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Ubaid Shah, and Sikandar Raza picked up one wicket each.
Earlier, batting first on Multan Sultans’ invitation, Lahore Qalandars posted 185 runs for 5 wickets in 13 overs.
Mohammad Naeem starred with a blistering 60 runs, while Parvez Hossain Emon scored 45 and Abdullah Shafique added 33. Asif Ali (8) and Rassie van der Dussen? (Wait correction not given) — actually Robin Heman scored 3 runs.
Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 13.
