Katie Price has shared a teaser of her upcoming documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, with many viewers already rallying behind the former glamour model ahead of its release next month.
The promotional clip, shared jointly by Katie and Sky TV on Instagram, features archive footage from throughout her career alongside present-day interviews with the 48-year-old reality star as she looks back on her life in the spotlight.
“You’ve seen the headlines. Now see what’s behind them. #KatiePriceNothingToHide coming 8 July,” read the message that went alongside the trailer.
The four-part documentary, which was first announced by Sky in April before a release date was confirmed in June, promises an intimate look at Price’s three decades in the public eye.
The documentary revisits the highs and lows of Price’s extraordinary career, from her rise as Page 3 model Jordan to becoming one of Britain’s most recognisable celebrities. It also touches on her highly publicised relationships, cosmetic surgery procedures, financial troubles and bankruptcy battles.
Price is also the mother of five children, including Harvey, whom she shares with Dwight Yorke, Junior and Princess with Peter Andre, and Jett and Bunny with Kieran Hayler.
In the teaser, those closest to Price can be seen sharing their emotional reflections of her. Her mother, Amy Price, recalls, “Katie was quite quiet when she was a little girl, she was quite shy”.
Katie then herself admits, “I have always felt misunderstood. No one ever got to see the vulnerable side. Never.”
Other contributors discuss the pressures of fame, with one person saying she became a different person when the cameras appeared, while another reflects, “We were all feeding off her like vultures”.
The teaser ends with Price acknowledging her mistakes.
“I know I’ve hurt people deeply. And I know I’ve made mistakes. It’s very hard to explain me. But I’ve got nothing to hide. I am what I am. It’s like watching a movie, isn’t it?”
The teaser instantly won over her fans, with one commenting, “Never been so ready for a doc in my LIFE”.
“Katie is the British Paris Hilton. So misunderstood. Love you Katie!!!” another wrote in the comments.
A third added, “One of the most genuine people in the celeb world,” while another said, “She is such a perfect example of an undiagnosed neurodivergent girl. Bless her, can’t wait for this”.
The series arrives amid renewed scrutiny surrounding her whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews.
The businessman recently returned to the UK after being detained in Dubai, an incident that sparked weeks of speculation about both his future and the future of the couple’s marriage.
Before his detention, the pair had reportedly planned a joint television appearance where Andrews was expected to address allegations about his business dealings, which he denies. Price later met with Andrews’ former wife as questions continued to swirl around the controversy.
Ahead of the documentary’s release, the couple have also announced a separate project titled “Katie Price Presents: Roast of Hubby Lee Andrews – Unanswered Questions”, scheduled for June 30.
Andrews has also been actively supporting Price online, sharing both the documentary trailer and promotional material for the upcoming appearance together, as well as posting several recent photos of the pair together.
Katie Price: Nothing To Hide premieres on Sky and NOW on July 8.
