Adam Ramsay Peaty is believed to see his father-in-law Gordon Ramsay, as his role model.
According to the body language expert Judi James, the three-time Olympic swimming champion, who used his full name, Adam Ramsay-Peaty, for the first time at a major championship, has said that he has picked up some of Gordon’s mannerisms.
She told the DailyMail that Adam during his interviews while competing in the Commonwealth Games, Adam said at one point that he ‘wants to get lost in being a husband and father’ with his pregnant wife Holly as they prepare to welcome a baby girl.’
‘His pose and his aura mirrored Gordon Ramsay. His chest and upper arms are posed in a way to look huge to show strength, and he folds his arms, tucking his hands into his torso in the signature style of the TV chef.
‘I just think I deserved more’ was also reminiscent of Gordon’s verbal and tonal delivery.’
Despite missing gout on the gold medal, the 31-year-old received a warm reception in Glasgow, unlike anything he had experienced before.
