Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to bat first against Islamabad United in the ninth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.

Gladiators, captained by Saud Shakeel, won a game out of their two matches so far, while the Shadab Khan-led United are looking to open their account in the tournament.

Islamabad United suffered a defeat against Multan Sultans in the opening game, while the clash with Peshawar Zalmi was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.
