Miller Environmental Group Expands Southeast Footprint
New acquisitions of Haz-Mat and Canco bolster industrial waste treatment and disposal capabilities across the Carolinas.
A New York-based environmental services firm has finalized the purchase of two regional industry players.
Miller Environmental Group announced the acquisition of Haz-Mat Environmental Services and Canco, expanding its reach into the specialized industrial cleaning and waste transportation sectors.
Haz-Mat, headquartered in Charlotte, and Canco, based in Chester, South Carolina, provide services ranging from hydro-blasting to hazardous waste disposal for major customers across the Southeast.
The move follows Miller’s recent acquisition of ACE Environmental. By integrating these two new entities, Miller aims to create a more dense, vertically integrated service platform in key regional markets.
Company leadership noted that the acquisition adds highly complementary services to the existing Miller portfolio. The combined scale is expected to allow for broader service offerings across the industrial and waste services value chain.
