Sydney Sweeney is setting the record straight about rumours she’s had plastic surgery.

In a recent interview with Variety, the 28-year-old actress made it clear that she hasn’t gone under the knife — or even considered it. 

“I’ve never gotten anything done,” Sweeney said. “I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing.”

The Euphoria star said she plans to embrace getting older naturally. 

“I’m going to age gracefully,” she added.

While she takes the speculation in stride, Sweeney admitted that some of the online chatter about her looks makes her laugh. 

“It’s really funny. I’ll see things online like ‘comparison pictures.’ I’m like, ‘I’m 12 in that photo,’” she explained. 

“Of course I’m going to look different. I have makeup on now and I’m 15 years older.”

Over the weekend, Sweeney turned heads with a bold new hairstyle, debuting a sleek bob at the AFI screening of her new film Christy in Los Angeles. 

According to her hairstylist Glen “Coco” Oropeza, achieving her fresh blonde shade was no small task — the process reportedly took an entire week.

The event also marked an emotional milestone for Sweeney, who recently revealed she’s just days away from wrapping up Euphoria Season 3. 

“I wrap Euphoria in two days,” she told Variety’s Marc Malkin at the AFI Fest premiere.

Returning to the HBO series after a three-year break has been a nostalgic experience for the actress, who first joined the cast at 20. 

“It’s mostly the same crew, so it feels like I’m going home to family,” she said. “I’ve grown up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people, it feels very comforting.”

Although HBO has confirmed that the upcoming season will be Euphoria’s last, Sweeney kept quiet about any chance of a continuation. 

“I cannot confirm any information,” she said with a smile, leaving fans wondering what’s next for the hit show — and for her.
