Social media platform, WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature under which users will be able to post longer voice notes as a status update.
WhatsApp is expanding the capabilities of its status feature for both iOS and Android users.
The Meta-owned messaging app is enhancing the status feature by allowing users to share voice notes up to one minute in length.
This new functionality enables users to record and share longer audio messages through their status updates, making it easier to communicate more detailed thoughts and stories without interruption.
Additionally, WhatsApp is also rolling out the ability to post longer videos on its status feature.
This update allows users to share more meaningful and extended video clips, which is particularly useful for sharing events, announcements, or any moments that require more than just 30 seconds to capture.
According to WA Beta Info, users will be able to record voice notes by holding down a mic button similar to sending voice notes.
This new feature can updated through the Google Play Store or App Store.
Other app updates include viewing Status Updates, the user’s decision on who will see the content, and sharing up to 1-minute long videos.
