There are multiple street festivals and markets celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Chihuahuas are finally set to race at the Wharf after Cinco de Mayo’s washout. Dozens of farmers in Loudoun County are opening their doors to the public for farm tours, while the Lucketts Spring Vintage Market and the Lincoln Strawberry Festival also make for tempting day trips. Closer to D.C., there are street parties on Georgia Avenue and at the Village at Shirlington, and a pedestrian-friendly tour of museums in Dupont Circle and Kalorama.
