Taylor earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her performance in the film One Battle After Another.
The film, released on September 26, 2025, stars Taylor as Perfidia Beverly Hills, the role brought her major recognition during the awards season, including a Golden Globe win.
Ahead of the Hollywood’s biggest night, Taylor had a conversation with TMZ during pre-Oscars party on Thursday, March 12, 2026, where she shared that she has begun writing an acceptance speech “just in case” her name called during the ceremony.
Furthermore, she also imitated a stunned expression of herself if she went up the stage.
It is pertinent to mention that besides Teyana Taylor, the Academy Award category also has big names like Elle Fanning for Sentimental Value, and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, also for Sentimental Value.
Notably, this year’s Oscars, hosted by Conan O’Brien, are set to take place on Sunday, March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
