Shujaat, Elahi discuss politics, family matters in Adiala Jail meeting – SUCH TV

In a significant development, senior Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leaders held a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at Adiala Jail.

The meeting, which lasted for nearly three hours, delved into various aspects of the country’s political landscape and family matters.

Among those present at the meeting were prominent figures from the Chaudhry family, including Chaudhry Shujaat, Chaudhry Wajahat, Chaudhry Salik, and Muntaha Ashraf. Discussions centered around the overall political situation in the country and pertinent family issues.

Notably, PTI President Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat engaged in a private meeting that lasted for two hours and 40 minutes. The meeting took place in the conference room of Adiala Jail, where the leaders exchanged views on a range of topics, including the health and facilities provided to Elahi.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, members of the Chaudhry family departed from Adiala Jail without addressing the media. The details of the discussions and outcomes of the meeting were not disclosed publicly.

The meeting between leaders of PML-Q and PTI underscores the ongoing political dynamics and alliances shaping the landscape of Pakistani politics. As stakeholders navigate through various challenges and opportunities, such interactions play a crucial role in shaping the course of political developments in the country.

The meeting comes hours after the PTI nominated former minister Omar Ayub as its candidate for the prime minister’s slot.

This was announced by former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser while speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where he held a meeting with PTI Founder Imran Khan.

Asad Qaiser also hoped that the prime minister will be from the PTI, adding that the party’s mandate was stolen during the recently held elections.

He further announced that the PTI will launch a protest movement across the country, the date for which will be announced by the evening. “Rallies and protests will be held all over the country,” he added.

He claimed he had been asked to contact all political parties, as everyone from Maulana Fazlur Rahman, ANP, Qaumi Watan Party and others were also protesting.
