Fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of Pakistan Shaheens’ Darwin tour due to a back injury.
Dahani will miss the second four-day match against Bangladesh ‘A’ starting on Friday, along with the white-ball segment of the tour, which includes two one-day games and the Top End T20 Series.
He will undergo an assessment by the medical panel before commencing his rehabilitation.
Spin-bowling all-rounder Mubasir Khan has been named as Dahani’s replacement in the white-ball squad.
Khurram Shahzad, initially set to return after the four-day series against Bangladesh ‘A,’ will now be available for the two one-day matches against Northern Territory Strike and Bangladesh ‘A’ on August 4 and 6, respectively.
