Secretary Blinken expressed determination that the truce result in a permanent, nationwide ceasefire and the launch of an inclusive, Yemeni-Yemeni political process under UN auspices. Only a political agreement among the Yemeni parties, which also meets Yemenis’ calls for justice and accountability, can bring peace and prosperity to the country.
