President Zardari, PM Shehbaz strongly denounce Afghan aggression – SUCH TV

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned Afghanistan’s recent act of aggression, reaffirming that Pakistan will never compromise on its national sovereignty or territorial integrity.

In a statement, President Zardari said Pakistan remains steadfast in safeguarding its national interests, borders, and security at all costs.

He expressed disappointment over the Afghan leadership’s stance, saying it has turned away from the just freedom struggle of the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir an injustice to both history and the Muslim Ummah.

The President noted that the recent attacks by the Khawarij elements from Afghan soil are well-documented and substantiated by United Nations reports.

He reiterated that Pakistan’s civilians and security forces continue to be targeted by the collusion between Khawarij militants and the “Hindu sedition,” posing a grave threat to regional peace.

President Zardari urged the interim Afghan government to take concrete measures against anti-Pakistan terrorist networks operating from its territory, warning that inaction would only fuel instability.

He emphasized that both the Khawarij and the Hindu seditions remain the most significant obstacles to peace and stability in South Asia.

The President added that the restoration of peace and the dignified repatriation of Afghan nationals are in the best interest of both neighbouring nations.

Pakistan will continue to support the educational and humanitarian needs of the Afghan people.

Pakistan has provided all possible facilities to Afghanistan to promote trade, economy and ties, the President said.

Mutual cooperation and economic partnership are the basis for sustainable peace and development of the region, Asif Ali Zardari.

The President said Pakistan is the well-wisher of a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan, and brotherly relations are linked to mutual respect, security cooperation and regional peace.

The President said that Pakistan expects the interim Afghan government to prevent its territory from being used by terrorist elements of the Khawarij and India.

PM Shehbaz condemns Afghanistan attack

Pakistan’s prime minister said on Sunday he “strongly condemns provocations” by Afghanistan, vowing a “strong and effective response” after border clashes between the neighbouring countries overnight.

“There will be no compromise on Pakistan’s defence, and every provocation will be met with a strong and effective response,” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement, accusing Taliban authorities in Afghanistan of allowing their land to be used by “terrorist elements”.
