Pakistan slashes petroleum prices by up to Rs3.40 per litre


ISLAMABAD – The federal government on Monday slashed the petroleum prices by up to Rs3.40 per litre.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the decrease in the POL prices.

According to the new notification issued by the finance ministry, the petrol price was slashed by Rs2.07 per litre while the price of light diesel was decreased by Rs1.03 per litre. The price of high speed diesel was slashed by Rs3.40 per litre.

The price of kerosene oil was also decreased by Rs3.57 per litre.
