Pakistan security forces have “eliminated” all 30 terrorists responsible for the deadly Orakzai attack that claimed the lives of 11 security personnel, including Lt. Col. Junaid and Major Tayyab, according to security sources.
The security forces launched a strong and decisive response against the terrorists linked to the Kharijite outfit, successfully neutralizing everyone involved in the recent Orakzai assault.
Officials confirmed that the militants behind the martyrdom of Lt. Col. Junaid, Major Tayyab, and nine other soldiers were all killed during the clearance operation.
Sources stated that the entire network of 30 militants connected to the Orakzai attack has now been wiped out.
Pakistan security forces reiterated their commitment to eliminating terrorism from the country, emphasizing that operations will continue until full peace is restored.
On October 8, during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Orakzai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 19 Indian-backed militants were killed while 11 Pakistani soldiers, including two officers, were martyred.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Orakzai, targeting the Indian-sponsored proxy network “Khawarij.”
During an intense exchange of fire, 19 Indian-backed terrorists were killed, while Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Tariq embraced martyrdom along with Major Tayyab Rahat and nine other brave soldiers, ISPR confirmed.
