The Pakistan Armed Forces successfully concluded Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on Saturday, May 10, in a decisive response to Indian military aggression that began during the night of May 6–7, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
In its statement, the military’s media wing said the post-Pahalgam events were designated as the Marka-e-Haq conflict. The operation was launched to retaliate against unprovoked Indian attacks that resulted in the tragic loss of innocent Pakistani lives, including women, children, and the elderly.
Indian Military Targets Engaged:
Pakistan’s response demonstrated exemplary tri-services coordination, leveraging real-time intelligence, network-centric warfare capabilities, and seamless multi-domain operations across air, land, sea, and cyber fronts. This integration ensured precision strikes, rapid execution, and overwhelming force at critical targets.
Utilizing long-range Fatah series missiles (F1 & F2), PAF precision munitions, loitering killer drones, and advanced artillery, Pakistan engaged 26 Indian military targets. These included installations involved in attacks on Pakistani civilians and entities linked to sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan. Targets were struck both in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and within mainland India.
Notable targets included Air Force and Aviation bases at Suratgarh, Sirsa, Bhuj, Naliya, Adampur, Bhatinda, Barnala, Halwara, Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Udhampur, Mamun, Ambala, and Pathankot—all of which sustained significant damage.
BrahMos missile storage sites at Beas and Nagrota, responsible for earlier attacks on civilians, were destroyed. Pakistan Air Force also effectively neutralised S-400 air defense systems at Adampur and Bhuj. Key logistical hubs, such as the Field Supply Depot in Uri and the Radar Station at Poonch, were targeted as well.
Military command centers—especially 10 Bde and 80 Bde at KG Top and Naushera—allegedly responsible for planning strikes that killed Pakistani civilians, were also eliminated.
India’s Proxy War Exposed:
During the eastern front operations, Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase in Indian-sponsored terrorist activities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, further confirming India’s hand in destabilising Pakistan via proxies.
Despite this, Pakistan’s Armed Forces continued counter-terrorism operations in the western region with unbroken resolve, effectively managing both fronts.
A National Response:
Marka-e-Haq stands as a testament to the synergy of Pakistan’s national power, unified by public support, in defending sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“No one should doubt that whenever Pakistan’s sovereignty is challenged or its territory violated, the response will be swift, comprehensive, and decisive,” the ISPR said, while saluting the nation’s resilience and unity during this period.
