Next month, the global launch of the OnePlus 12 is imminent, as reported by credible tech news outlets.
The renowned smartphone manufacturer is set to unveil its latest flagship phone in various international markets, shortly after its debut in China.
Powering the OnePlus 12 is Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and it boasts a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera setup featuring a Sony LYT-808 sensor.
According to information supposedly shared by a company executive, the OnePlus 12 will share the stage with the OnePlus 12R.
At the Never Settle community event in Antwerp last Friday, Alexander Vanderhaeghe, OnePlus Benelux’s Country Manager, revealed that the OnePlus 12 is scheduled for a Europe and global market launch on January 23, aligning with earlier reports about its release timeline.
Additionally, Vanderhaeghe mentioned that OnePlus plans to introduce a gaming-focused R-series smartphone alongside the OnePlus 12.
Positioned as the successor to the OnePlus 11R, the rumoured OnePlus 12R is expected to cater to gamers and may be priced more affordably than the flagship model.
Currently exclusive to China, the OnePlus 12 is equipped with Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, offering up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Operating on Android 14-based ColorOS 14, the device features a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED screen with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
The device’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
Additionally, OnePlus has integrated a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Powering the OnePlus 12 is a robust 5,400mAh battery, supporting 100W SuperVOOC charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
