In a devastating incident on Saturday, a school bus carrying students from Sheikhupura to Islamabad met with a tragic accident near Shahdra. The bus veered out of control, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to 14 others.
According to reports from both the police and rescue sources, the school children were on a picnic trip to Islamabad when the unfortunate mishap occurred within the jurisdiction of Shahdra. Swift action was taken as soon as the incident was reported, with rescue teams immediately dispatched to the scene.

The injured students were promptly shifted to the Federal Government Services Hospital (Poly Clinic). The rescue teams worked diligently to ensure the safe transportation of the children, highlighting the coordinated efforts in responding to such emergencies.
The bus was carrying more than 40 children at the time of the accident. This incident has left over 14 students injured, and tragically claimed the life of one student, as reported by rescue sources.
