The US tech giant Microsoft has released several updates last months in its operating system that have reportedly caused the VPN connection failures in Windows 10 and 11, reported BetaNews.
Users have been left wondering why their VPN is not being connected.
The number of people remains unclear and it is yet to be ascertained how widespread the problem is, however, the Bill Gates-founded behemoth is cognisant of this fact, but not offering much.
In a note on the Microsoft website, the company has marked the breaking of VPNs as an issue for KB5036893, for instance, the Redmond-based company described the issue saying: “Windows devices might face VPN connection failures after installing the update dated April 9, 2024, or later”.
Despite the description, you will not find any solution other than the company’s advise to users for a “workaround”:
If you are facing trouble in your home PC, then you need to use the option of Get help in Windows, but in organisation where you are employed, you need to ask the concerned people to help you in this regard.
To avoid problems, you need to uninstall the problematic updates and avoid them for some time.
