Meghan Markle excited fans by revealing a few of her habits that she wanted to change.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is now married to Prince Harry, once listed down her New Year resolutions and vowed to quit one “unladylike” habit.
In a personal note written for her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, Meghan set goals for 2016.
As per Express, she wrote, “Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French. These make up my New Year’s resolution list nearly every year (AKA actually every).”
However, the Suits star revealed that she miserably failed to follow these goals last year as “the marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple of drinks.”
Notably, Meghan shared that she was not able to practise French as well.
Speaking of her “unladylike” habit, she said, “And when it comes to the biting of the nails well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit.”
Meghan, who now shares two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with Harry, also set goals for her future.
The now mother-of-two aimed to “approach life playfully. To laugh and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher.”
My New Year’s resolution is to leave room for magic. To make my plans, and be okay if they sometimes break. To set my goals, but to be open to change,” Meghan shared.
