Matthew Perry’s death is trending again on social media after a North Hollywood woman, “Ketamine Queen,” pleaded guilty for the actor’s sudden passing.
Jasveen Sangha, 42, pleaded guilty to five federal charges, including supplying ketamine to the late star.
On Wednesday, September 3, she appeared in federal court in downtown Los Angeles and entered a guilty plea.
She was seen wearing a khaki jail jumpsuit and ankle shackles.
Admitting her crime in court, she said, “I knew something was going to him, yes.”
According to court filings, Sangha sold 25 vials of liquid ketamine to Perry on October 14, 2023.
The Friends star, known for playing Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom, tragically died just two weeks later, on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54 from a ketamine overdose.
The American-British dual-national has been in custody since August 2024.
During a raid in March 2024, prosecutors and investigators found around 79 vials of ketamine and multiple pounds of methamphetamine pills at her residence, which they described as a “drug-selling emporium.”
It is pertinent to mention that Perry had long struggled with substance abuse, which he openly discussed in his 2022 memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.
