The domestic equity market kick-started the Samvat 2082 on a positive note, with both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty rising marginally. In the special one-hour Muhurat trading session that concluded at 2:45 pm, the BSE Sensex rose 62.97 point or 0.07% to close at 84,426.34. The NSE Nifty ended the day with a gain of 25.45 points or 0.01% to close above the 25,850 mark at 25,868.60.
