Islamia University lecturer arrested for harassing, blackmailing student

BAHAWALNAGAR – A lecturer at Islamia University has been arrested on charges of allegedly harassing and blackmailing a female student.

According to the police, a case has been registered against the lecturer based on the student’s complaint.

The FIR states that the lecturer sent inappropriate messages and obscene videos via WhatsApp to the student.

The complaint also mentions that the accused threatened to fail the student in exams and have her expelled from the university if she did not agree to an illicit relationship.

The police have registered the case and arrested the lecturer on charges of harassment and blackmail.
