Islamabad International Airport has emerged as the country’s best-performing major airport while Multan International Airport, is ranked top among regional hubs in the Pakistan Airports Authority’s (PAA) annual 2024 audit.

According to PAA officials, the comprehensive audit assessed a wide range of criteria, including passenger facilities, terminal cleanliness, airside safety standards, airport lighting systems, lifts, baggage handling operations, as well as the efficiency of rescue and firefighting services.

The findings revealed that Islamabad International Airport excelled in nearly every category.
