Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday celebrations were perfect, per his wife Arlene Silver.
Silver led a flash mob dancing to a medley of her husband’s songs during the party at their Malibu home. The party was attended by the couple’s family and friends.
“It went so perfect — just everything,” Silver, 54, told People. “And he was so happy. His face, I love to make him have that face.”
“This felt so perfect,” she gushed, adding that she feels “relieved, grateful and so happy” with how the milestone party went.
Silver previously revealed how her husband wanted to celebrate, saying, “He doesn’t want to do anything,” she explained, adding, “He wants to be in his room watching Jeopardy! reruns with me.”
This comes after Van Dyke opened up about turning 100.
“I feel really good for 100,” the Mary Poppins star continued. “Sometimes I have more energy than others — but I never wake up in a bad mood.”
To mark his birthday, the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang actor shared lessons he leant throughout his life in his new book 100 Rules for Living to 100.
Dick Van Dyke: A 100th Celebration is also being screened this weekend to mark his 100th birthday.
100 Rules for Living to 100 is on shelves in bookstores.
