KARACHI – Gold extended gains in domestic market of Pakistan on Thursday to take prices to record high amid rising international rates.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price increased by Rs1,500 to reach Rs277,000, the all-time high rate in history of the South Asian country.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram surged by Rs1,285 to settle at Rs237,482.
In international market, the bullion rates increased by $12 with new prices settling at $2,647.
A day earlier, gold also continued to climb to new record highs as per tola gold price moved up by Rs2,500 to reach all-time high of Rs275,500.
The price of 10-gram also increased by Rs2,144 to settle at Rs236,197.
