First spell of monsoon rains to hit several parts of country – SUCH TV



The weather office said that rain is likely in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday along expected rain showers in some places of eastern Balochistan.

It has rained with thunder in the Samahni area of ​​Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and its surroundings, heavy rain has continued for several hours in Koh-e-Sulaiman, Shirani, and Danasar.

Rain in Karachi prediction

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain at a few places in Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Hyderabad, Dadu, Badin, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mithi, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar and Nawabshah during this evening or night.

Flooding risk in KP

There is a risk of flooding in the local rivers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir and Mount Sulaiman due to heavy rain.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 48 degrees Celsius in Turbat. Nokundi, Dalbandin, Sibi recorded 46 degrees Celsius, Nawabshah recorded 44 degrees Celsius while Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bannu recorded 42 degrees Celsius.

Karachi, Multan, Muzaffarabad recorded 41 degrees, Peshawar 40 degrees, Islamabad, Lahore and Quetta 39 degrees, and Gilgit 35 degrees.
