John Krasinski and Emily Blunt turned the 2025 US Open into a family outing, bringing along their daughters Hazel, 11, and Violet, 9, for a rare public appearance.
The couple and their girls were spotted in prime seats on Sunday, September 7, as they watched the men’s singles championship match in New York City, where Carlos Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner to claim the title.
The kids seemed to enjoy every bit of the action, even sneaking in some pizza while keeping their eyes on the court, as per PEOPLE.
When the cameras found the family in the stands, Hazel and Violet stole the moment by waving enthusiastically to the big screen, a sweet highlight noticed by fans.
Both sisters coordinated their looks for the day, with Violet in a light pink dress paired with a blue cardigan, while Hazel wore a pink-and-white jersey with jeans.
Krasinski kept it classic in a black polo shirt and gray trousers, while Blunt chose a crisp white button-down dress.
Though the pair tend to keep family life private, the US Open has become something of a tradition for them, as this marks the third consecutive year they’ve attended together.
Back in 2023, Blunt revealed she was stepping away from work for a while to spend more time with her daughters, telling the Table for Two podcast, “This year, I’m not working. I worked quite a bit last year, and my oldest baby is nine, so we’re in the last year of single digits.”
Since then, Blunt has returned to acting and is currently filming The Devil Wears Prada 2.
Even with a busy schedule, she emphasized to PORTER magazine that she makes sure to be home for the moments that matter most.
“Once my children start to find me repellent, once Mommy doesn’t reign supreme, I will do it, but I feel bedtime is this essential anchor,” she explained. “The 10-minute chats where they tell you everything — you don’t want to miss them.”

Blunt also recently reunited with her Jungle Cruise co-star Dwayne Johnson for The Smashing Machine, and the pair reflected on their off-screen bond while promoting the film at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
Blunt recalled, “We just became very fast friends, like an immediate secret language, which I think you feel with certain people that you work with. We just talked and shared our souls. And I was just really taken by, I guess, how different he was from what I had imagined.”
She added, “He was so gentle and quite interior and sort of contemplative and kind, just easy. Like, so lovely to be around, funny and quick, all these qualities.”
Johnson, in turn, had nothing but praise for Blunt, calling her one of the “greatest actors of our time, of all time.”
He added, “In order to go to the place we were going to go, you have to have love, and then you have to have trust. And the love and the trust then allow for vulnerability.
We could not have done that without this love and trust and vulnerability that we have. I want to thank you, because you are the greatest.”
