Elliot Page and his new girlfriend, Julia Shiplett, made their red carpet debut at Gucci’s The Tiger premiere on Tuesday night, September 23, in Milan, Italy.

The 38-year-old Oscar-nominated actor looked stylish alongside Julia, 38, a comedian known for her role in the Prime Video series Overcompensating.

The couple first sparked dating rumours in June 2025 when they shared photos together during Pride Month. Elliot, who was previously married to dancer and choreographer Emma Portner, separated from her in 2020. 

He has also dated Olivia Thirlby and Kate Mara in the past.

Elliot is set to star in the upcoming movie The Odyssey, directed by Oscar winner Christopher Nolan. This will be his second collaboration with Nolan, after working together on the 2010 film Inception.

Elliot Page’s past relationships

In his 2023 memoir Pageboy, Page shared details about a secret relationship he had with a closeted actress, whom he refers to as “Ryan.”

The relationship lasted almost two years, and even some of Page’s closest friends were unaware of it. Page recalled that his partner’s parents also didn’t know about their relationship.

Page described the relationship as “not sustainable” due to the challenges they faced. He believed that his partner struggled with the shame of being perceived as queer, while Page’s own queerness was already public knowledge.

“People didn’t ‘think she was queer,’ but they definitely assumed I was, and I don’t think she could handle the shame,” Page wrote. Ultimately, the relationship ended, leaving Page heartbroken.

They have also been linked to other actresses, including Kate Mara and Olivia Thirlby, his co-star from the movie “Juno.”
