Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, who extended warm felicitations to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on signing the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement.
In the conversation held on Thursday evening, Dr. Abdelatty termed the agreement a significant milestone that would further strengthen partnership, mutual trust, and cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, underscoring the importance of peace, stability and economic progress.
They reaffirmed their commitment to multilateral cooperation and look forward to substantive interactions at 80th session of the UN General Assembly next week.
