The spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Muhammad Umar Butt, announced that the deadline for submitting Hajj applications under the regular scheme is until the close of banking hours today.
He reported a significant response, with over 66,000 applications already received through the regular Hajj scheme.
Muhammad Umar Butt said that in response to the requests from overseas Pakistanis, the deadline for the sponsorship scheme has been extended until the 31st of this month. Intending pilgrims are allowed to deposit funds in dollars until the end of December.
Additionally, Saudi Aviation has set a deadline of the second of January for airlines to submit their Hajj flight schedules.
