David Beckham has launched a snack line inspired by his beekeeping obsession.
In a press release shared with PEOPLE magazine, the 50-year-old English former footballer talked about starting his new fruit snack brand made with honey called BEEUP which he made in collaboration with Shaun Neff.
Beckham said his “well-documented love for beekeeping” inspired his new venture and his willingness to make something filled with nutrition.
He explained, “Beekeeping began as a hobby with my sons, but quickly grew into a deep appreciation for honey as a powerful superfood that provides natural energy.”
“I am excited to make this wholesome, nutritious ingredient available for active kids and families in the form of these incredible BEEUP snacks,” the president and co-owner of Salford City and Inter Miami CF added.
“Whether prepping for a game, performance, or the playground, we’ve made BEEUP to offer families natural energy they could feel good about eating,” Beckham noted.
It is pertinent to mention that per the press release, BEEUP, which will sell packs of 10 fruit snacks, has three flavours, including Sour Watermelon, Tropical Mix, and Very Berry.
