Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held a constructive discussion with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the Gaza Peace Summit in Egypt on Monday.
Dar praised the efforts of the United States and Türkiye in facilitating the ceasefire and advancing the shared objective of lasting peace and stability in the region.
He highlighted the need for continued international engagement and humanitarian support for the people of Gaza and Palestine, and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to a just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian issue.
