Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed authorities to make Air Punjab operational at the earliest. Chairing a high-level meeting to review progress on the provincial airline project, the chief minister emphasized the need to fast-track the completion of Air Punjab’s first phase.
She directed officials to finalize the leasing of modern and comfortable aircraft to ensure quality service and a smooth passenger experience.
During the briefing, CM Maryam was updated on the ongoing developments and preparations related to the airline’s launch.
The meeting also approved the initial flight route from Lahore to Islamabad, marking a major step toward the airline’s operational readiness.
The Murree Glass Train project was also reviewed in the meeting.
